I have been submersing myself in personal development and spiritual growth with Paul Ferrini's work: Real Happiness. It is a 3 phase course, two of which I have completed, and a lifelong practice. Note...Just because I have taken 2 of the 3 phases, I am no where further along the path than another...as my Spiritual Teacher Tom says "be vigilant!" And that is what I am. It is a constant process.

I was introduced to Paul's work by my friend Alisha. She has been around the Spiritual block, including working as Deepak Chopra's right hand person, and was turned on to the work by her Mom - all because she saw a radical shift in consciousness in her mom.

Real Happiness is based on the principal that no one and nothing external can make us happy. Happiness is an inside job and only ourselves can do the work. Now this may sound fundamental, and while I always got this intellectually, I still found myself relying on others and things for happiness.

Now that I am immersed in the work, I see the truth. I connect with my core self, divine unconditional love and feed my soul, knowing that no one, especially David can ever provide happiness the way I can do so for myself.

I love this work and highly recommend it to all. I have learned so much in so short of time. Here's one tidbit Ill share...when something triggers me, it has nothing to do with the other person, it always has to do with something inside of me that needs attention, love & healing. Ahhh, feels good to take the other off the hook and take responsibility.

Finally, I want to share how blessed I am to do this with David who too is so open and willing to do the work. Now while that makes me happy, even if he chose to not do the work, I still can be happy!
