Settling in...

It’s been 3 weeks to the day that I have been living in California and I love it! Being so close to the place where the land meets the sea, life is truly a miracle. I go to the beach 2x a day, 1st thing in the morning with Chants & then down in Del Mar for sunset at the dog beach. 2 favorite times of my day – I also LOVE seeing all the bodies out in the ocean, ready to catch a surf wave!

I am slowly integrating with the kids yoga world here – I will be offering NGY classes at the Soul of Yoga (www.soulofyoga.com) here in Encinitas – and reaching out to the public schools in this area for in-services, after school yoga classes & during PE time too. There happens to be SO much Yoga here in Encinitas. I heard there is the most Yoga per capita here in the world! I’ve also heard that the ashram, the Self Realization Center here in Encinitas, is built on a “chakra” = super holy & spiritual, and that is why there is so much energy here showing up in the western version: Yoga Centers! Its an incredible place!

Im heading up to San Lois Obispo to do a NGY TT for 2-7 yr. olds – Feb 16th-19th. When I return, I will be moving into my 1st California house! An adorable house with room for a garden and plenty of room for guests – so please do come visit!!!

Its been way too long - here I am! i have been through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona & arrived in North County of San Diego January 20th. Specificity in Leucadia, on Avocado Street near Grandview Beach. Chants LOVES it here as do I! The beaches, the weather & vibe are all outrageous! Life is simply BEAUTIFUL! I have been sans computer & internet - challenging and inconvenient for a business woman looking for a place to live. So much has gone on & I am so excited with my life here in cali!

Before I go on, I am asking for your love & prayer for my Mother - Rookie, Rainbow, Ruby. She has been struck with Bells Palsy - paralysis of the side of her face due to a virus. Please pray for her - may she heal soon, quickly & painlessly. May she continue to be courageous with light & joy in her life. You can imagine its challenging being away from family, I miss them, especially during this time.

I did a Teacher Training in Encinitas at the SoulOfYoga.com last weekend - 10 amazing, creative loving kids yoga teachers join on this path. Ill get to work with many of them now doing student teaching, mentorship program with NGY. ALl very new & exciting too!

Like I said, I have no computer (mines at the DR. in NYC)- and no internet service at my lil rental beach cottage - perhaps thats my teaching for slowing down!

So...Super Bowl Sunday - we went on a GORGEOUS hike at Lake Cuyimaka. Inland, south/east -ahhh...life is so BIG - abundant. I have so many opportunities, possibilities in this life - we all do! Just by choosing, really - we are blessed!
