My Wednesday Walk ~ Life is Beautiful!

This morning on my walk with Chants, I reflected on this simple yet profound message - life is beautiful!! This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a service at the Agape International Spiritual Center, led by Dr. Michael Beckwith. It was during this service that I was reminded that no matter what our circumstances are - whether we are feeling challenged or at ease - life is inherently beautiful. For me, there is comfort in knowing that I live in a beautiful universe and even when I am faced with challenges, I trust that all that is occurring in my life is only adding to & enriching my experience. Please enjoy this week's video as I reflect on the beauty of life.

My Wednesday Walk ~ Balance is Beautiful!

Today on my Wednesday Walk, following 6 days of leading NGY Teacher Trainings, I found myself craving balance. Even though I find much joy and fulfillment in my work, I know that I need to allow myself time to unplug and recharge once in awhile in order to stay balanced. When I am balanced and taking care of my own needs, I have more to offer to others.
In our busy lives, it is easy to slip out of balance. It is important to be gentle with ourselves when this happens, and look for little ways to bring balance back into the areas of our lives that need our attention. Please enjoy this week’s video blog as I share some ways I find balance.

In sharing our own experiences, we can help each other learn & grow. Please leave a comment below and share some of the ways you maintain balance in your life, and also share some tools you use to bring yourself back into balance.

My Wednesday Walk ~ Feel Your Feelings & Feel Better!

On today’s walk, I share about feelings. I have noticed that when I allow myself to acknowledge and fully feel my feelings instead of ignoring or suppressing them, I feel better. Sometimes the tendency might be to avoid or even numb uncomfortable feelings (sadness, fear, anger, or resentment), but if we actually feel the feelings and allow them to move through us we can feel more at ease. Please enjoy this week’s video blog as I share a personal story about how I have moved through some uncomfortable feelings I have been experiencing.

As always, I’d love to hear from you. How do you cope with your feelings? Do you allow them, or is your natural instinct to suppress them? Please leave me a comment below.

My Wednesday Walk ~ Watch Your Thoughts, for They Become Your Destiny!

On my Wednesday Walk today, I reflected on how my thoughts effect my reality. In the past week and a half since I returned from Asia, I have experienced serious jet lag and, as a result, I found myself having more negative thoughts and lower energy than usual. I even wound up with a head cold. I noticed that when I shifted my thoughts away from how exhausted I was feeling to more positive thoughts and feelings of gratitude, I immediately started feeling better physically.
Please enjoy this week’s video blog about how our emotional state effects our physical well-being, and how simply shifting our thoughts can change our reality.

I’d love to hear from you. Please leave a comment below and share how you have witnessed the effect your own thoughts have had on your physical well-being.

Watch your words, for they become actions.

Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
