Find Your Purpose

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today's 'Wednesday Walk', I discuss how living my life's purpose, or 'Dharma', allows me to live life fully and happily. Every single person on this planet has a special gift or talent that is unique to them alone. If we are lucky, we find this gift when we are young, but sometimes many years go by before we find it ~ and that's ok too!

I learned a wonderful exercise from Deepak Chopra that has helped me find my Dharma, and I'd love to share it with you. Deepak suggests asking yourself three specific & powerful questions at least once a week. Please watch my video blog to hear more about this technique & how it can help you find your purpose.

I would love to hear from you. What is your special gift or purpose in life? Do you have a practice that you use to discover your Dharma? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

P.S. There are many incredible books that can help you find your purpose. Two great books to get you started are The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra and The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything by Ken Robinson.

All love,

Healing Happens

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today's 'Wednesday Walk', I share with you some ways that I have been processing the passing of my dog Chants. It has been two weeks since Chants' passing. I knew that even though he was no longer able to join me in a physical sense anymore, I would need to keep walking. Walking has helped me stay connected to nature, connected to my body and connected to the spirit of Chants. Continuing to honor a tradition that he and I shared not only lifts my spirit, but it allows me to express my love and reverence for our relationship. Please watch my video blog to hear about the other great tools that have helped me move from grief to healing.

I would love to hear from you. What are some tools that have helped you process grief and move towards healing? Please leave a comment below so we can all learn from you.

Be Love

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today's 'Wednesday Walk', I share how I have learned to Be Love, Give Love and Love Unconditionally. Last week, I helped my best friend in the world ~ my dog Chants ~ transition into the light. Chants passed with so much honor and love, surrounded by friends and warmth. Chants lived his life as a walking example of love. All who came across him felt his positivity deep in their heart, and I have learned so much about what it means to live love. As I walk on the beach that Chants and I shared many walks on, I can't help but feel proud to have learned to love unconditionally. Please watch my video blog to hear about the wonderful ways Chants showed me to love.

I would love to hear from you. How have you learned to live from your heart and truly be love? Who has shown you how to love unconditionally? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

I can not even begin to express the immense gratitude I feel for the outpouring of your love and support that I have received since Chants' passing. Your love is literally carrying me through, thank you.

P.s. I would love to share the story of Chants' peaceful, honorable passing. You can find it on my facebook page by clicking here. If we are not friends yet, let's be. All love,
jodi

Love for Chants

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today's 'Wednesday Walk with Chants', Chants and I connect with you from our home. My relationship with my dog Chants is one of the longest, most intimate relationships I've ever had ~ he means the world to me. In the past six months, Chants' body has begun to slow down. Through this entire shift, his spirit and love have shown me the capacity of the heart. After a series of recent visits to a few different veterinarians, Chants & I discovered that he has cancer. In all my life, never has the following saying rang more true:
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
Please enjoy my tribute to my best friend, Chants.

Chants & I would love to hear from you. How has an animal companion taught you to be all love? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.
all love,
jodi

Every Day is a New Year!

Happy Wednesday Friends!

I am so excited to wish you all a very Happy New Year! On Today’s ‘Wednesday Walk with Chants’, I reflect on the fact that every day can be a new year! Every single day that we wake up is a new opportunity to set goals and intentions for ourselves. While it has become a habit to set resolutions around New Year’s, it is important for us to remember that we can transform our lives any day of the year! It is equally as important to be kind to ourselves rather than punish ourselves for not following resolutions ~ we make them to better ourselves after all! Check out my Wednesday Walk to learn more.

I’d love to hear from you … How do you relate to the idea that every day is a New Year and an opportunity for a New You? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!
Here’s to a wonderful New Year full of kindness to ourselves and daily celebration!
All love,
jodi
