Moving to SF with Trust

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I share about how my move to San Francisco is teaching me the way to move with trust. Interestingly enough, the Bay Area is a place I truly haven’t spent a lot of time in, but something deep inside of me is telling me that it is the right place for me to be. I have lived in San Diego for the last 6 years, New York City for 15, and like all big changes, this move is bringing up a lot for me, including fear and excitement, and everything in between. Whenever I feel overwhelmed by the move, I trust in Spirit that I am being guided, and move forward with this trust. Check out my Wednesday Walk to hear about how I am learning to move with trust.

I would love to hear from you. Have you been in an unknown or maybe even scary experience where all you could do is move with trust? What did you find happened when you trusted? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

Help Me Teach Yoga in Africa

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I share about my service project with the incredible, 501c3 organization, Africa Yoga Project. Almost 9 years ago, I followed my heart, left my NYC kids yoga studios, and went on an adventure to Mama Africa. While I was there I had the life-changing experience of sharing yoga with children from some of the most impoverished communities. Since this trip, I have dreamed of going back to teach kids yoga and share my special gift of training teachers.

Through the wonderful law of attraction I connected with Paige Elenson, the co-founder of the Africa Yoga Project and now … in just 4 months, along with 17 others on Team Next Generation Yoga, I am headed back to Africa to volunteer and
teach over 50 AYP Teachers in the Next Generation Yoga Teacher Training.

BUT I NEED YOUR HELP …
This is a volunteer project & I am committed to raising $7500 by my birthday on April 24th ~ I invite you to please read more about this project & click here to make an easy donation.
Any amount helps, and I thank you and those who have
already donated.

PS ~ I would love to hear from you. Have you been involved in a service project that has changed your life? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

All love,

Everything Happens for a Reason

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I explain how shifting my perspective has helped me realize that everything happens for a reason. In recent days, I have been looking for a place to sublet for my move to San Francisco. After thinking that I had found the right place (twice!) I was informed that the owner had decided to sublet to someone else. While it was easy for me to become upset and wonder why something like this was happening to me, I stopped and asked myself why it was happening for me.
Please enjoy my video blog to learn how a perspective shift could change your frame of mind.

I would love to hear from you. Have you had an experience where you realized that something you didn’t enjoy actually happened for a reason?  Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

PS ~ I am moving to San Francisco and welcome any suggestions & introductions you have for yoga studios, community centers & schools. I am also looking for a sublet to move into, if you know of one, please let me know … thank you.

All love,
jodi

It's OK To Ask For Help

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I discuss a very important lesson I learned … it’s OK to ask for help! I am currently experiencing many shifts in my life, from the passing of my dog Chants to moving. When I realized what I needed, I took a risk, asked my friends for help and I was greeted with a great surprise ~ people wanted to help!
Many of us have had experiences in our lives that have taught us that we have to do things on our own, that we should be strong, and not ask for help because it shows weakness. Lately, I’ve learned that asking for help is not only beneficial to me, but to those who are helping me. Please enjoy my
video blog where I discuss this in more detail.

I would love to hear from you. How do you feel about asking for help? Have you had an experience where you learned that it is ok to ask for help? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you
