Live Life by Design, Not by Default
Happy Wednesday Friends!
On today's 'Wednesday Walk', I share about the importance of living life by design, and not by default. Since my move from San Diego to the San Francisco Bay Area, I have embraced the idea that I have a choice in how I live my life, that I don't have to just go through the motions every day. From this, I have consciously chosen to live my life on purpose. While I realize that it may not be simple for many to just pick up and go on vacation as part of their design, I do know that we can live our life by design in small ways, every day. Check out my Wednesday Walk to learn more about how I feel I am living my life by choice and design.
I would love to hear from you. Are you living your life by default? If so, what inspires you to want live your life by design? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.
All love,
jodi

Beautiful Jodi! So happy for you and grateful for you!! You are a bright light and inspiration to so many!! Like you, I am living my life by design and hoping to inspire others through my example. Three years ago I was given a diagnosis of DCIS (stage zero breast cancer). Doctors gave me 2 choices: Mastectomy or partial mastectomy with 6 weeks of daily radiation. I chose a different path and created a blog (www.dcis411.com)and Facebook group (Donna's Choice: Global Healing from the Inside Out)to share about it and help other women prevent breast cancer (and avoid potentially harmful treatments) while living a life of vibrant health. Namaste, Donna
Jodi you continue to inspire and lead by example! Yes, we really can live our lives by design even when we feel there are no options for that. I feel that what people need to realize is that we always have a choice in the matter, that we do not necessarily have to go with what is the norm or what is expected of us. One must consciously consider things and this should include thinking outside the box. Ask: what do I truly want/need? Ask: what has to happen first before the next thing can happen? Ask: am I doing this for myself or someone else? I have lived my life by design for many decades and it has offered me great opportunities and challenges for my personal growth and development. Remember this: Fear is a liar. We are powerful beings all we need to do is get out of our own way and allow all the good things to flow into our lives without expectation. We just need to be aware so that we may consciously choose the path we wish to walk. Thank you for sharing and inviting others to share with you. Namaste, Angelina
